Karina frasier

Birth and Postpartum doula

Hello!

Karina's path to birth-work began during her first pregnancy, when she developed a deep appreciation for the care, support, and community that exist within the birth world. After her daughter was born, she realized how much additional postpartum support would have helped her and how many families are unaware of the resources available to them. Wanting to help bridge that gap, she became a doula so she could provide the reassurance, practical support, and encouragement she believes every family deserves.

Karina is trained through DONA and has additional education in high-risk birth support, lactation, belly wrapping, baby-wearing, photography, and childbirth education. She is especially passionate about helping families advocate for themselves and make informed choices that align with their values and needs.

As a postpartum doula, Karina believes the early weeks should be centered around rest, connection, and healing. She encourages families to slow down, soak in time with their baby, and prioritize nourishment, hydration, and support. Her favorite part of the work is watching parents grow into their confidence, offering reassurance, practical help, and resources that reduce anxiety and allow families to focus on what matters most.

When she isn't supporting families, Karina enjoys making handmade soaps and body products, reducing household waste, reading everything from insightful books to delightfully ridiculous novels, and pursuing continuing education within the birth world.

Clients often describe Karina as a calm and grounding presence. She brings steady support, genuine encouragement, and deep respect for each family's unique journey. Above all, she believes that parents know their family best and is honored to support them in making the choices that feel right for them.
