Your New Reality- Preparing for Physical and Emotional Postpartum Recovery

The postpartum period is one of the biggest transitions you'll ever experience, yet it's often the one families feel least prepared for.

That's why we're so excited to offer Your New Reality: Preparing for Postpartum on Saturday, September 26, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Metta & Moxie in Birmingham. This in person postpartum workshop is designed to help expecting parents prepare for the realities of life after birth, not only physically, but emotionally, mentally, relationally, and practically.

Hosted by Natasha Kinner, owner of Live Light Birth & Family, birth doula, childbirth educator, and postpartum support specialist, alongside Savannah Smith of Nurtured Psychotherapy, this workshop combines evidence based postpartum education with honest conversations about what the fourth trimester truly looks like.

Together, we'll explore postpartum recovery, newborn feeding, realistic sleep expectations, maternal mental health, identity shifts, partner communication, relationship changes, creating your support village, and what it really means to care for yourself while caring for a newborn. You'll walk away with practical tools, realistic expectations, and a deeper understanding of how to thrive during the early weeks of parenthood.

Whether you're welcoming your first baby or growing your family, you'll leave feeling more prepared, more connected, and more confident in the journey ahead.

Perfect for expecting couples, first time parents, and growing families throughout Birmingham, Metro Detroit, and Southeast Michigan who want to prepare for the fourth trimester with confidence.

This workshop is for:
• Expecting couples
• First-time parents
